Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She is best known for her role as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16 she portrayed the lead part in a variety of dramas on television. The audience was impressed by her role in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring female stars. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous notable international and national projects. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
